We were told
If we're bold
If we'd broken the mold
A new course will unfold
But they lied
Still we tried
Sent out in the cold
Is it worth it
To ponder these
Famous last words of a generation
Have our thoughts turned to crimes
How will we find our way back
As the sand turns to glass
So many shards, oooh it makes you wonder
Did all this make us stronger
Oooh it makes you wonder
Promise turns to anger, only questions remain
As these lines that we drew
In the sand meant to hold
Was there ever a plan
It's the cross to be borne
Blame laid at our feet
Like we've been here before
Have our thoughts turned to crimes
So many pages we skipped
As the sand turns to glass
Too many shards, oooh it makes you wonder
Did all this make us stronger
Oooh it makes you ponder
All of this and nothing, won't forget or forgive
The song is a bit of a lament about the passing of time and the rites of passage that we all experience at the expense of the spirit and fervor we tend to leave behind. I suppose it also touches on the inevitable generation gap where the next generation looks at the prior one as a bit of disappointment for leaving their ideals behind. So as you can tell, the song is definitely intended to be a candidate as the song of the summer...in Autumn.

Wow Matt Fanale really brought it with this new single. Teaming up with Marie of Grabyourface was a perfect icing on the cake. This is a jam of hypnotic proportions and the message is you must move. Marie’s voice is a smoky sensual alien being both exotic and alluring. The single also has a really cool trance like bside and a holographic wavy Sawtooth remix. Turn the club speakers to 11 and feel it flow through you. preciousken

one time I was being attacked by a pack of rabid hyenas and then Klack came on. The entire pack ceased ripping my flesh from my body and we all proceeded to live harmoniously. my flesh also IMMEDIATELY healed. Vernal Trash
