Fusing the trap percussion of witch house with melodic refrains Vermillion Barrels is pure pull-up music with saccharine vocals that speak to the greed of the ruling class at the end of the world that they brought upon themselves as they retreat into lavish private bunkers and treat the world’s most scarce resources as objects of bodily consumption. The rich are sipping gasoline like wine and cutting their drugs with poison as they hail the end of days far from earshot of the teeming oppressed masses screaming on the surface.
